This film festival aims to encourage and nurture Kyushu filmmakers and to create a forum for film discussion. This year, in the 13th edition, 15 of last year’s award-winning films will be screened again, including the 2020 Grand Prix film “Graffiti Graffiti! ” and 15 other award-winning films from last year will be screened again. In addition, there will be a special screening of director Tomoki Misato, who has been in the spotlight of anime fans for a long time and finally made his breakthrough with a TV broadcast and 17 invited films, including a unique feature on documentaries from Kyushu, as well as 32 films including Asian transgender films and Taiwanese short films.
