The Fukuoka City Zoo’s giraffes had a baby last year, and next spring, a 100-meter-long crane in the city’s harbor will be painted with a giraffe pattern. A special exhibition will be held to introduce the “why” of giraffes, which children can enjoy. Visitors can learn about the characteristics of giraffes using life-size panels of giraffes kept at the Fukuoka City Zoo, skeletal specimens, and a 360-degree video dome where they can experience the giraffe’s perspective.
