Gokoku Shrine Flea Market

Held regularly along the approach to Fukuoka Gokoku Shrine, this popular flea market brings together around 250 vendors over two days. Set within the shrine’s calm, tree-lined grounds, stalls offer antiques, vintage goods, ceramics, accessories, clothing and more from across Kyushu, with a different mix of vendors appearing each day.
Food and drink are also a major part of the market. Visitors can browse coffee from independent roasters, dishes from popular local food businesses, drinks and baked goods while taking a break along the shrine approach. With goods, food and people coming together in a relaxed setting, it is an easygoing autumn market worth exploring on either—or both—days.
