For the first time at the Hakata Hankyu department store, a coffee festival is being held. The event features 19 coffee shops selected by GOOD COFFEE, the largest online coffee website in Japan, from all over the country. Visitors can enjoy not only a tasting of various coffees but also purchase coffee beans, equipment, ice and chai teas, cafe goods, and more. The festival also includes workshops by popular coffee shops in Fukuoka (advance registration required via web). With the purchase of a coffee tasting ticket, visitors can enjoy a comparison of four different types of coffee while receiving an exclusive mini-mug cup with a limited design, for ¥1,870 (limited quantities available). Moreover, the “HAKATA SWEETS Fes” is held at the same time, where visitors can also enjoy sweet treats from 15 shops along with their coffee. Come and experience the perfect marriage of coffee and sweets at this event!
