The autumn afternoon tea at the Grand Hyatt Fukuoka is themed “Autumn Melody,” offering a harmonious blend of seasonal flavors like chestnut and pumpkin paired with organically grown Gyokuro green tea. The experience begins with a welcome drink of green lemonade made with Kiyama Gyokuro tea, followed by a selection of sweets including Beniharuka sweet potato panna cotta, apple and Shine Muscat jelly, pumpkin cheesecake, chestnut and bitter chocolate mousse, raspberry and pear mousse, a Beniharuka sweet potato tart with Kiyama Gyokuro cream, chestnut fondant chocolate with Kiyama Gyokuro ice cream, and Kiyama Gyokuro scones. The savory options feature a Beniharuka sweet potato and bacon roll sandwich, chestnut and Hakata wagyu beef croquette, and a pumpkin and salmon sandwich. Guests can choose from 16 different drinks, including “Tsuru Seicha” Kiyama tea, black tea, and coffee. From 8 pm, the afternoon tea is accompanied by live music.
