Get to know Hakata straight from volunteer townsfolk as they guide you through shrines, temples, and other sites of importance. Some of the information they provide cannot be found even in guidebooks! This year there are five tours to choose from, including the usual shrine and temple walking tour, a tour tracing the steps of famous Hakata-related persons, and a kamaboko (pureed deboned white fish) designing workshop tour. Please be aware that the tours are only available in Japanese. Reservations recommended.
