This traditional summer festival is returning to Hakata Station Plaza! Perfect for an evening of cooling down, the festival kicks off with the sprinkling of water and offers classic games like Super Ball scooping and Yo-Yo fishing that both children and adults can enjoy. Onstage, there will be performances of Japanese Taiko drumming and live singing to entertain the crowd.
Of course, festival-goers can indulge in traditional festival cuisine, too. From Yakisoba, takoyaki (octopus balls) to shaved ice, there will be a variety of classic food stalls, as well as alcoholic beverages to enjoy. One of the highlights of the event will be the revival of the Bon Dance, where attendees can gather around the large festival tower and dance. Come and relive the nostalgic summer festival experience with friends and family!
