Held under the open sky on a Sunday afternoon, the event is designed for individuals and families alike. While it’s a must for bread lovers, it also draws interest from those who enjoy crafts. In connection with “Hakozaki Shima,” a traditional cotton textile long associated with the area, the event also features exhibitions and sales of locally loved fabrics such as Kurume Kasuri. Workshops include yarn spinning and silk screen printing experiences.
