The Heshikiri-Hasebe sword will be on display at the Fukuoka City Museum this January. Regarded as a national treasure, this famous blade was once owned by key historical figures such as Oda Nobunaga and Kuroda Kanbei. It then remained in the possession of the Kuroda clan before eventually finding its way to the city museum. The blade received renewed levels of interest due to the success of the online game Touken Ranbu. The museum collaborated with the game to deliver some exciting illustrated displays. Merchandise will also be on sale for any visitors looking to pick up souvenirs.
