Celebrate the Path of Light in Fukutsu with a Special Sweets Fair: The city of Fukutsu is home to scenic spots like the “Path of Light” and the “Sea Mirror” at Miyajidake Shrine. October offers one of only two opportunities a year (the other being in February) to witness the stunning “Path of Light.” To celebrate this rare event, a special sweets fair is held at dining establishments along Fukutsu’s coastline. This year’s fair includes seven new participants, making it the largest ever with 31 participating stores. From cakes to traditional Japanese sweets, each venue offers creatively crafted treats inspired by the Path of Light.
