102nd Iizuka Noryo Fireworks Festival
Dating back to 1922, this is one of Chikuho’s best-known fireworks festivals, with a history of more than a century. Around 7,000 fireworks illuminate the night sky above the Onga River, while large-scale pyrotechnic displays, including a spectacular Niagara Falls effect, are among the highlights. Festival stalls line the area around the venue, attracting around 100,000 visitors each year.
