Fukuoka-based artist Jake Galm (MumbleJinx) celebrates the closing of his solo exhibition From a Penny in a Well, to a Genie in a Shell with an evening of DJ sets and live performances at 4ram in Kokura. The exhibition, Galm’s first solo show in 13 years, features works combining colored pencil and ink, digital collage, and street-art sticker art in the artist’s self-described “Psychedelic Rhythm and Blues” style. The closing event brings together DJs and musicians from Fukuoka, Kitakyushu, and Yamaguchi for the exhibition’s finale.
