Midori no Machi Marche Special Edition: Hoshizora Marche
Based on the theme of “people- and planet-friendly products and experiences,” this Maizuru Park market brings together makers offering carefully crafted goods and activities. In August, it starts in the early evening, when the summer heat begins to ease, making it a relaxed way to spend the final Saturday of the summer holidays.
Stalls offer vegetables and fruit from Asakura, Kurume, Tanushimaru, and other areas, along with handmade sweets, prepared foods made with koji, and miscellaneous goods. Food trucks serve hot dogs, soft-serve ice cream, cheesesteak sandwiches, and more. Children can also enjoy target shooting, super ball scooping, an insect lottery, face painting, and glow-in-the-dark slime making.
