Here’s an opportunity to share ideas about the future of public transportation for Fukuoka City. Fukuoka Directive Council (Fukuoka D.C) will hold a seminar/forum about Fukuoka’s urban development strategy at Resola NTT Yume Tenjin Hall on Oct. 12. The theme of the event is “Urban Transportation and Mobility”, featuring special guest Mr. Robert Van der Bijl, an urban planner from Europe. With strong expertise in this area, Mr. Van der Bijl founded lightrail.nl. (a tram/train hybrid) and is the director of RVDB (an urban design company). The event is a great chance to help shape the thinking about public transportation in Fukuoka.
