Nagasaki celebrates its historical ties with China with a lantern display of epic proportions. Some 15,000 lanterns are arranged in displays across the city, including lanterns in the shape of Chinese historical figures, zodiac animals and more. A day trip from Fukuoka and running for two whole weeks.
