Nepal Festival Fukuoka is a cultural exchange event celebrating ties between Nepal and Japan. Held in Fukuoka—home to one of Japan’s largest Nepali populations and its longest-established Nepali community—the festival has been a local annual tradition since 2010 and marks its 13th edition this year.
A total of 28 booths, mainly run by Nepali residents and international students in Fukuoka, will offer Nepali food and goods. The event also features stage performances of traditional dance and music, along with a free sari try-on experience.
