Nicolas Depetris is a French painter and architect, living and working in Fukuoka. After leaving Nice, his hometown, for his studies at a school of architecture in Paris, he came to Fukuoka and fell in love with it; he paints the city every day. This month, he will be presenting his first exhibition in Japan. His works center around the relationship between people and “the natural world”.
