Six coffee shops, two each from Fukuoka and Yamaguchi prefectures, will open two stores each week at the rose garden in the national Uminonakamichi Seaside Park, where 1,200 autumn roses of about 220 varieties are in full bloom and their fragrance is fragrant. Each store roasts its own beans and brews coffee to order, just like a field trip. (¥400~500 per cup). Coffee beans, coffee yokan, pound cake, and other sweets that go well with coffee are also available for purchase. (Payment is cash only). The first 60 customers to purchase coffee each day will receive an original Fukuoka Coffee Festival mug.
