Pickleball, a sport gaining popularity in North America, combines elements of tennis, badminton, and table tennis and is easy for anyone to start playing. With around 50 million players in the U.S., it’s rapidly growing in popularity. An event in Fukuoka offers the chance to experience pickleball firsthand. Participants can join a reservation-based session with instruction, rally with an instructor, or freely play matches with other participants on rental courts. Same-day participation is also available for some slots. Equipment is provided, so just come in comfortable clothing and shoes.
