Red Bull Symphonic makes its Japanese debut in 2026, bringing hip-hop and orchestral music together with Awich, a leading figure in Japan’s hip-hop scene. Presented in cities around the world, the series reimagines an artist’s signature tracks through symphonic arrangements created especially for the night, rebuilding their melodies, rhythms and harmonies rather than simply adding orchestral accompaniment.
Tokyo Secret Orchestra will perform under conductor Mika Takayama. Known as the queen of Japanese hip-hop, Awich brings her words and beats into a setting shaped by the acoustics of a classical concert hall and the scale of a full orchestra. How that setting transforms her music is central to the performance.
Crossing genre boundaries, the concert offers a chance to hear familiar tracks from a different perspective.
