The “Renovation Museum Reizensou,” a retro Showa-era building cherished by those who value people, community, and culture, hosts its Open Day once or twice a year. Now 67 years old, the vintage building opens its rooms to visitors, offering a chance to explore the space and engage with others through various events. Guided tours by the building’s manager, offering an in-depth look at Reizensou, are held at 11:30 and 14:00. At the simultaneously held outdoor market, around 20 vendors from across Kyushu offer handmade goods, massages, nail art, and more. It’s a full day of independent cultural experiences.
