Salon du Chocolat is one of Kyushu’s largest chocolate festivals with over 80 chocolate brands from 16 countries! With this year’s theme “Everything is an ‘encounter’”, encounter cacao, ingredients, and people! Marking the twelfth time for the Salon du Chocolat in Fukuoka, visitors can experience “encounter” through salon du chocolat. If the sheer number of chocolates makes it hard to choose what to buy, check out the Salon du Chocolat Selection Boxes (numbered tickets will be distributed only on 1/29 at the Iwataya main building B2F, in front of the entrance on Kirameki street from 9:30). Assorted chocolate pieces were carefully selected from different chocolatiers from all over the world. A bean to bar display provides information about the origin of the chocolates, the raw ingredients, and the process of chocolate manufacture. The venue can get crowded, so avoid the morning and after-work rush!
