Shochu Time – Talk, Learn & Drink

Christopher Pellegrini, author of the The Shochu Handbook and a leading international expert on all things shochu and awamori, will be giving a bilingual talk on shochu in cooperation with Kyushu Daigaku. Whether you’re already a convert or you’ve never even tasted shochu before, this is a great opportunity to learn about the alcohol for which Kyushu is famous (Kyushu is the center of shochu production); and all in a relaxed bar setting. Drink, learn and meet other shochu fans at this special event!
