The Summer Mountain Festa is centered around celebrating the blessings of the mountains and promoting safe mountaineering practices. Mountaineering equipment manufacturers will set up booths for sales and demonstrations, while local governments in Kyushu will showcase mountain lodges, climbing routes, and trekking courses. Furthermore, workshops and seminars on mountaineering will be conducted throughout the event.
On June 24, Kenji Kondo, an internationally recognized mountain guide, will offer a free lecture. The following day, mountain climbing YouTuber Kaho, along with Naoko Watanabe, a climber and nurse from Fukuoka Prefecture, will deliver lectures, each costing ¥1,000. Tickets will be available for purchase at the venue on both June 24 and 25. Alternatively, you may secure your spot ahead of time through phone or email reservations.
