“Mifuneyama Rakuen,” a sprawling 500,000 m² garden nestled within a majestic forest, will be transformed into an interactive art space that blends nature with digital technology. The artistic spectacle will commence as night descends upon the forest, showcasing over 20 exhibits that utilize natural elements and remnants. These will include light installations, soundscapes, and plant displays that react to human proximity.
This exhibition marks the ninth year of TeamLab’s ongoing project, which began in 2015, and has seen a continual exploration and creation of many artworks. A highlight this year is the unveiling of a newly excavated cobblestone path, designed as a unique musical space where the auditory experience shifts with the pace of one’s walk.
Adjacent to Mifuneyama Rakuen is the Mifuneyama Rakuen Hotel, noted for its sauna, providing an excellent accommodation option for visitors. It is recommended to book a stay at the hotel, allowing one to leisurely indulge in the music and art installations at their own pace.
