Oktoberfest is an annual beer event that takes place in Munich in the autumn. This year the area of Tenjin hosts the festival for the first time, giving locals the chance to sample quality German beer straight from the barrel, in the month of July! All kinds of delicious German food such as sausages, eisbein (cured and boiled pickled ham hock), and schnitzel will also be available for visitors who do not drink. Make sure to check-out the live performances from Munich-based musicians. Drink, dance, and sing, while enjoying a cold glass of beer! Prost!
