Study the stories still lives have to tell at this exhibit dedicated to the art form. There will be several special events running alongside the exhibit. On May 13 (Sat.) at 13:00, there will be a free 40 min. talk at Special Exhibition Room A (2F, no registration required). On May 28 (Sat.) from 15:00, there will be a free lecture at the first floor lecture room focusing on “how to enjoy the exhibition” (approx. 1 hour; 50 participants maximum; first come, first served). On Jun. 4 (Sat.), you can join a free poem-writing workshop, at which you tour the exhibition and then write poems on the theme of “Things”. The workshop will run between 10:00 and 12:00 at the first floor lecture room, and you must register in advance (deadline: May 24 (Tue.), 20 participants maximum). On Jun. 18, Noriaki Kitazawa, art historian and professor at Joshibi University of Art and Design, will give a two-hour lecture on still lives. This lecture is free, but you must register in advance (deadline: Jun. 8 (Wed.), 240 participants maximum).
