Bayside Place is honoring Tsushima Island for Golden Week, with a two-day “Tsushima Fair”. Tsushima Island is an island of the Japanese archipelago situated in the middle of the Tsushima Strait, and part of Nagasaki Prefecture. Come down to Bayside to enjoy barbecued seafood including fresh oysters and abalone from Tsushima. There’s a “Tsushima Tonchan Butai” B-1 Grand-Prix featuring delicious grilled pork, and you can learn a thing or two about fish preparation from the tuna cleaning show. Taste Tsushima’s locally brewed sake, meet Tsushima’s mascot character “Shimahiko”, and don’t miss Tsushima Moko Daiko’s drum performance!
