This winter tradition at Uminonakamichi Seaside Park wraps the grounds in the gentle glow of candlelight, offering a warmer, more intimate atmosphere than typical illuminations. For 2025, the candle art theme is “A Happy Christmas Connected by Light.” Based on a winning design selected through a public contest, around 10,000 candles will create a magical scene.
The “Wonder World” area transforms into a “Light Amusement Park,” where visitors can ride go-karts and a mini steam locomotive through illuminated paths. It’s a unique evening experience that blends tranquility and festive cheer in the wintertime setting of Uminaka.
