Uminonakamichi Seaside Park welcomes the season when one of the largest kochia turns bright red. The park is filled with flowers that are at their best in autumn, such as 4,000 crimson kochia (mid to late Oct.), 1.2 million cosmos (mid-Oct. to late Oct.), and 1,200 autumn roses (mid-Oct. to late Nov.) in about 220 varieties, and from this year, colorful zinnias (10,000 flowers) and salvia (7,000 flowers) ) will make a new appearance. Various events such as workshops and animal contact will be held during the period. Also, don’t miss free autumn admission days on 10/2 and 10/30! You can enjoy colorful flowers for free. The spacious park is ideal for strolling, and an intra-park bus service is also available on weekends and holidays during the festival. (free pass ¥300).
