The National Seaside Park of Uminonakamichi is an enchanting retreat where the beauty of seasonal flowers unfolds all year round, with the tranquil springtime offering the quintessential flower-viewing experience. Beginning in late March, the park transforms into a breathtaking floral haven, blanketed with an impressive display of 60,000 tulips, 1,600 cherry blossoms, and a sweeping expanse of 150,000 rapeseed blooms, enveloping the entire area in vibrant hues. This season, the addition of the Allium giganteum, with its delicate, cotton-like clusters of tiny flowers, further enhances the park’s botanical allure. Come early April, the spectacle continues as a million nemophila flowers bloom, creating an illusion of a vast, dreamlike blue carpet, captivating visitors with their peak beauty.
