Nestled along the pathway to Hakozaki Shrine, the esteemed Winter Peony Festival unfurls its beauty in the “Flower Garden” through early February. This exquisite garden, adorned with the serene aesthetics of a traditional Japanese karesansui (dry landscape), becomes a picturesque haven where 200 winter peonies across 20 varieties blossom resplendently under quaint straw hats. The allure of these blooms transforms the carefully curated 7,000 square meters of the garden into a tapestry of vibrant colors, drawing admirers from near and far. This cherished garden, a sanctuary of floral beauty, invites visitors to immerse themselves in a kaleidoscope of seasonal flowers, delighting the senses all year round.
