This year’s event, the 15th of its kind, will be held under the theme of new ways to enjoy the waterfront and become familiar with the city’s canals. This year, not only tours of the canals but also active experiences such as SUP cruising (¥1,500, advance reservation required), SUP yoga on the water (¥2,000, advance reservation required), canoeing, and a timed race in which a team of 9 people paddle a donko boat (¥500, advance reservation required) will be available. A waterside market will be held in the Suito Yanagawa, where kitchen cars will be set up. Visitors can camp at Ashiyu Park (September 18~19, from ¥10,000~, advance reservation required).
