A new event to enjoy Yanagawa in the evening will be held at the plaza in front of the “Deai Bridge” and the surrounding moat, which is connected to the Ohana Estate, the former residence of Tachibana. The canal around the Deai Bridge will be lit up with laser lights and projection mapping, and visitors can board a gondola for a tour of the moat from the Suito Yanagawa Boat Terminal (¥2,000 for the tour, available at the boat terminal on the day of the event). The Pierock Circus will put on a circus show combining puppets, musical instruments, and street performances, and a night market will be held with stores from Fukuoka and other prefectures that offer specialties.
