Takaaki Mori opened Coffee County in Kurume in 2013 after spending time in Central America with coffee growers, and he returns once a year to maintain his ties with them. Last fall, he opened the Fukuoka shop in Takasago. He does not blend his beans, so you can enjoy the unique flavor of each plantation’s beans. Have a drip coffee, espresso, or try an original espresso soda, made with lemons and limes imported from his growers. Another one of Mori’s unique concoctions is the chai-like cardamom milk coffee. Free tasting bar, hip interior, and a funky location to boot.
