Fukuoka’s retail and dining scene is set for a significant boost as 18 businesses open their doors at the commercial floors (1-2F) of Fukuoka Daimyo Garden City Bio Square. Alongside the already operational fashion label “N°21”, leather goods brand “Bonaventura”, and florist “Baroque”, an additional 14 establishments are slated to launch on June 8th.

The Craft Bar And Grill
Enjoy a modern take on classic American cuisine at this all-day dining establishment. Dedicated to using ingredients sourced from Kyushu, the chefs here avoid artificial seasonings and emphasize high-temperature cooking in a charcoal oven.
Their beverage offerings feature craft beer from Yokohama’s “Number Nine Brewery” and an exclusive wine list, with each bottle priced at 3,300 yen. The wines, carefully handpicked from wineries worldwide, are imported through their own channels. For coffee lovers, they roast single-origin beans on-site for the freshest brew. The restaurant accommodates up to 117 guests, with counter seating and terrace seating overlooking the Daimyo Garden City Square. The menu features a range of dishes, from house-made charcoal-grilled hamburgers and steaks to grilled carrots and bone-in fried chicken.
Pizzeria Da Gaetano

On ground level, you’ll find a well-known pizzeria, carrying on the legacy of its famed namesake, “Da Gaetano,” based in Naples, Italy. This restaurant channels the lively ambiance of Italy and its quintessential pizzerias with its distinctly Italian decor, a fully equipped bar counter, and an authentic wood-fired oven. The venue also offers terrace seating overlooking the plaza and private dining rooms for a more intimate experience.
Fukuoka Yakiniku Kintan

Providing Japanese beef such as A5 grade Sendai beef and Miyazaki beef. Kintan, a Yakiniku restaurant that originated in Ebisu, Tokyo, has opened its first branch in western Japan at Daimyo Garden City. Popular items include 30-day aged tongue and sirloin yukhoe (Korean style raw meat dish)
A Chinese bar where you can enjoy home-style dishes (meaning everyday dishes in Chinese) and alcohol with your loved ones has opened in Fukuoka.
Their specialty is rice cooked in an earthen pot. Enjoy modern kaiseki and yakitori in a modern space.
Sushisho offers diners a unique experience, focusing on serving a variety of exquisite sushi pieces in a relaxed setting. Lunch sets start from 5,000 yen (tax excluded), and dinner from 10,000 yen (tax excluded).
Conceived by the Michelin-starred Chef Takahito Nishimura, Nishimura-ya is a culinary theme park where one can savor diverse and innovative cooking techniques and styles. They also offer take-out options like creamy tonkotsu ramen and open sandwiches.
Park South Sandwich
Park South Sandwich is a cozy café-bar that presents freshly roasted coffee and sandwiches brimming with fillings. Their To-Go style items can be enjoyed anywhere, and in the evening, guests can unwind at the counter with a hot sandwich and craft beer.
Lotus Palace Daimyo
Lotus Palace Daimyo is a restaurant specializing in Vietnamese cuisine. The culinary delights, prepared by a former chef of a reputed Ho Chi Minh City hotel, range from street food favorites to intricate court dishes, available both a la carte and as courses. They also cater to vegan, vegetarian, and gluten-free diets.
Teppanyaki 10 Fukuoka

Teppanyaki 10 Fukuoka provides a unique dining experience with its spacious layout, grand piano, and extensive iron griddle where guests can enjoy teppanyaki-style steak and lobster in a lounge-like atmosphere.
Pietro MIO MIO
At Pietro MIO MIO, guests can savor salad bowls loaded with fresh vegetables and signature Pietro dressings. Mentaiko salad pasta (rice) is available for dine-in or take-out. Through a dedicated app, guests can place orders and pick up without waiting, directly from the lockers at the entrance.
Asako Iwayanagi Fukuoka
Asako Iwayanagi Fukuoka, a popular patisserie from Tokyo, brings its delights to western Japan for the first time. Apart from selling baked sweets and fresh confectionery gifts, they also serve lunch and afternoon tea, offering pairings of sweets with tea or alcohol. They’re known for their dazzling parfaits, made with fresh fruits sourced directly from farms across the country.
The homemade gelato and “Parfait Bijou,” made with fresh fruits, are highlights. The fruits used vary by season. Within the Asako Iwayanagi brand, it’s the most popular speciality.
In the front of the shop, there’s a bench area where you can easily get takeout parfaits and crepes, no reservation needed. During bar hours, they serve a range of desserts centered around homemade gelato and drinks, including a Fukuoka-exclusive gelato parfait.
There are a total of 26 seats in the back of the shop, consisting of tables and counters. For the first three months after opening, only Parfait Bijou will be served. From September onwards, they plan to introduce a grand menu including lunch and afternoon tea.
