This January, a new restaurant specializing in Kobe Beef and Kyushu-raised Kuroge Wagyu opened near Kushida Shrine. It is one of only three restaurants in the city serving certified authentic Kobe Beef. We recommend the Gold Course, which comes with 13 dishes including Kobe Beef and Kyushu-raised Kuroge Wagyu served in three styles: barbecue, yakishabu and seared sushi. The exquisitely marbled meat only needs to be seared lightly before you enjoy the melt-in-your-mouth goodness. “I hope visitors to Fukuoka will have fond memories of eating here,” says head chef Hidekazu Yokoyama.
Menu: Gold Course ¥8,000 (13 dishes: small dish, appetizer, dish of the day, potato salad, garlic rice, soup, assorted kimchi, two kinds of Kobe Beef, two kinds of select Kuroge Wagyu, prime yakishabu, one prime seared marbled beef sushi, one prime seared lean beef sushi, dessert), draft beer ¥550, sake, wine (wine list available)
*Foreign language menu: English, Korean, Chinese / Credit cards: Accepted (WeChat Pay and Alipay accepted) / Reservations possible / No smoking
