Manu Coffee, a trailblazer among Fukuoka’s specialty coffee shops, opened its fifth shop in July, this time in Shirogane. Dubbed the Kujira shop, the new cafe sits in a fully remodeled first floor space and features a huge Loring coffee roaster. Manu Coffee visits its growers once a year to buy beans direct, and it roasts each batch carefully to bring out the unique flavors. This is why we recommend you try the French press. The shop closes twice a week to roast beans, but you can also buy bags of Kujira Blend beans to take home. Stop by and enjoy the chill vibe.
