Ten years ago, two coffee fanatics started Rec Coffee—then just a coffee truck—because they wanted to create a “recreational space to record an unforgettable coffee experience.” In 2010, they opened their first shop near Yakuin Station based on the concept of “seed to cup.” Co-owner Yoshikazu Iwase has twice won the Japan Barista Championship and was runner up in the 2016 world championship; his dedication to coffee is bar-none. The friendly staff will help you choose the right blend for a relaxing time. You can also enjoy latte art and delicious homemade sweets.
