Uochu, a purveyor of seafood set meals, is the sister shop of gourmet izakaya Tanakada. The set meals feature a main dish of seafood—Uochu procures its seafood twice a day—and come with rice, miso soup, and an appetizer. (Rice refills are free!) Whether you are on your own or with family, the modern Japanese interior is welcoming, and you can expect Tanakada’s trademark high-quality food and service. We recommend the zeitaku-don—a bowl of rice topped with greater amberjack, salmon, sea bream, sea urchin, salmon roe, tuna red meat, rolled egg and okra. All menu items can be ordered at any time of the day, so feel free to have a late lunch or early dinner.
