As its name implies, Vegebal Kyushu is a bar where you can enjoy fresh Kyushu-grown vegetables to your heart’s content. For lunch, you’ll want to try the custom salad set. Tell the staff what vegetables, dressing and toppings you like, and they will serve you an original salad tailored to your preferences. The lunch set comes with buffet-style bread, soup and drinks, so feel free to help yourself to seconds. Another healthy option is the veggie pizza, with an original crust made from a mix of flour, rice flour and soybean flour; it is lower in calories, sugar and salt than a typical pizza. You can also order the vegetable-filled tapas dishes a la carte and because Vegebal is in Amu Plaza, it makes for a good pit stop before traveling from Hakata Station.
