Yakuin 3 Terrace

Good news for cafe lovers! A new dining cafe has opened on the first floor of Yakuin3, the new headquarters building of Kyushu Mitsubishi, 300 meters west of Yakuin Station on Yakuin Odori. The bright and spacious interior with high ceilings is comfortably furnished with ornamental plants, tables, and counter seats, while the terrace seats 72 people.

A morning set of freshly baked bread is available from 8 am (a rarity to find a place opened early in Fukuoka!). On top of that, Chef Hiroshi Ando, formerly of the French restaurant “La Maison de la Nature Goh” in Nishinakasu, is the chef here. You can enjoy the well-prepared menu in each scene, starting with morning, lunch, cafe, and with drinks in the evening.

From 11 am, the signature skillet (cast iron frying pan) menu is available. You can choose from a set or a single dish, such as the doria, seasonal rice cooked with an original sauce, layered with soufflé and cheese and baked in a skillet, or the chef’s salad, which uses plenty of fresh vegetables from Kyushu. You can also enjoy a pistachio crème brûlée or a fruit sandwich filled with fresh cream during your leisurely café time.

The plants displayed in the store can also be purchased at the GREEN THIRD PLACE, a green store attached to the restaurant.

Main menu (tax incl.): Original Blend Coffee ¥330, Cafe Latte ¥350, Espresso ¥330, Herbal Tea ¥330, Salted Lemonade Squash ¥440, Morning Set ¥500~, Lunch Set ¥1,200, Skillet Doria ¥700, Chef’s Salad ¥800, Chef’s Soup ¥400
