Munenori Kawasaki-formerly of the Softbank Hawks, will return to Japan with his team- the Seattle Mariners to play in the 2012 MLB Opening Series at Tokyo Dome. Kawasaki’s participation was previously in question, however with his batting average reaching .387 in exhibition games, it became obvious that he had the potential to be a starter.
