2nd Kyushu-Fukuoka Omiyage (Souvenir) Grand Prix

The award ceremony of the 2nd Kyushu-Fukuoka Omiyage (souvenir) Grand Prix was held at Tenjin Sky Hall on Mar. 25. The competition launched in 2018 to promote local souvenirs and rediscover hidden specialties of the area. The number of submissions increased by almost 500 from the first time and this year, 48 items were selected amongst the 3,280 as the most recommended souvenirs. Winners include popular mentaiko products, traditional sake, and shochu liquors as well as unique craft beer (by Hotel Okura Fukuoka) and newly invented chocolate gateaux.
