Seven roads in Fukuoka City will get a total of 4kms of bicycle lanes for heavy student traffic areas. The seven roads are as follows: 1. Between Sunny Town Kashi Iriguch~Aoba Junior High (1,120m) 2. Between Miyuki Koen mae~Kashiihama Danchi minami (740m) 3. Between Yoshizuka Eki mae~Kencho kita (400m) 4. Between Nanotsuguchi~Nanotsu Ohashi (500m) 5. Between Ward Office mae~Ward Office Iriguchi (300m) 6. Between Nakashimobaru Bashi~Yayoi Elementary School Kita (360m) 7. Between Hirao Intersection~Nanokawa 2 chome (440m). New bicycle lanes will be added to roads 1~5, and the color on the shoulder of the road will be changed accordingly. Roads 6 & 7 will have the gutters repaired before being made into bike lanes.
