Chiba-based Aeon Mall announced plans to build a large commercial facility in Fukutsu, Fukuoka Prefecture, which will open in April 2012. The facility, tentatively named Aeon Mall Fukutsu, will have roughly 150 tenants and employ as many as 2,500 people. It will be the company’s fifth mall in Kyushu. It was supposed to have opened at the end of this year, but there were delays in the construction of local access roads.
