According to a report by RKB Mainichi Broadcasting, police in Kitakyushu have rearrested a 42-year-old American national living in Yahatanishi Ward on suspicion of public indecency and violating Fukuoka Prefecture’s nuisance-prevention ordinance. RKB reports that the man allegedly exposed himself in communal areas of his apartment building on August 18 and September 4. During the August incident, he is also suspected of making sexually explicit remarks to a male neighbor in his 20s. The unemployed man had previously been arrested on suspicion of entering another resident’s balcony late on September 3. According to police statements reported by RKB, the man did not deny either alleged exposure incident and said he had been drinking at the time.
