Consumer electronics mass merchandiser Best Denki announced plans to open a training center in Fukuoka City for the study of sales techniques for solar power generating systems. They hope to train 300 specialists in that field by February 2013, and then assign them to the chain’s roughly 200 directly-operated shops nationwide. The company projects revenue from the sale of these systems to climb from the current 600 million yen to 16 billion yen.
