Chinese Airlines Resume Fukuoka-Mainland China Flights

As COVID-19 border measures start to ease, two Chinese airlines have announced that they will resume flights between Fukuoka and mainland China in June. These routes have been suspended for over three years. Air China will resume flights between Fukuoka Airport and Beijing, via Dalian, from June 7. These flights will operate twice a week, on Wednesdays and Sundays. Additionally, China Eastern Airlines will also restart its direct flights between Fukuoka Airport and Shanghai Pudong Airport from June 12, running twice a week, on Mondays and Fridays. Flights connecting Fukuoka and mainland China have been suspended since March 2020. This resumption comes after a hiatus of three years and three months. Source: China Eastern Airline / NHK
