Fukuoka Prefecture announced parking-lot closures at four prefectural parks during the Golden Week holidays (4/29~5/6), as a strategy to discourage visitors.

• Ohori Park (Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)
• Nishi Park (Chuo Ward, Fukuoka City)
• Najima Sports Park (Higashi Ward, Fukuoka City)
• Kasuga Park (Kasuga City)
Fukuoka City also announced additional closures of such facilities (4/29~reopening day undecided.) In the city, parking lots have been already unavailable at temporarily-closed facilities such as Fukuoka City Zoo and fifteen municipal parks with sport facilities:
• Higashi Hirao Park (Hakata Ward)
• Maizuru Park (Chuo Ward)
• Odo Park (Nishi Ward) and 28 more parks
